    Red Kite is a boutique holiday let management company operating in the beautiful rolling hills of the Cotswolds. Founded in 2021, we saw an opportunity to bring a fresh, modern and technology driven service to holiday letting. Our aim is very simple: 1) Deliver outstanding service to guests and owners 2) Grow organically with quality (not quantity) homes and 3) Use technology and personality to set us apart from the competition. We have big plans to shake up the industry and expand our service to all inspiring homes and places throughout the UK. 

     

    We are hiring our first Account Manager, this role has three main parts to it:

     

    Client Onboarding

    • Visit inspiring homes throughout the Cotswolds to onboard properties and clients to our service.
    • Create the listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO etc - know what good looks like and how to market the property online to the right audience. 
    • Ensure properties hit the ground running well - fully stocked and fitted out based on our requirements.
    • Work with Photographers, Housekeepers, Maintenance Contractors and others to ensure the first booking (and all thereafter) goes smoothly.
    • Be the single point of contact for your clients - guide them through the first few bookings and be a reliable, dependable pair of hands moving forwards. 

     

    Account Management

    • Monitor property performance - revenue, occupancy and guest reviews to optimise the home’s performance.
    • Implement guest feedback to improve experience for future bookings.
    • Coordinate repairs when required - booking electricians, plumbers, handymen and overseeing works to completion.
    • Communicate and update owners over email/whatsapp to answer any questions or carry out specific requests.
    • Visit each home in your portfolio every 4 weeks to conduct a quality inspection

     

    Business Support

    • Work 1 weekend per month which involves leading our Operations support - Guest Experience, Housekeeping & Maintenance. As a small business, this is a shared responsibility between team members to ensure quality service 365 days a year. 
    • Be on-call overnight 7 days a week per month. This is a shared rota again to ensure our guests can contact us if needed overnight. It is extremely rare but involves troubleshooting any potential issues (usually access - can’t find the property and trying to check-in at 11pm) and ensuring help is there if needed to coordinate and resolve. 

     

    Requirements

    • Good knowledge of the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. 
    • Personable - you like meeting new people and building long lasting relationships. 
    • Excellent time management skills - well organised, can prioritise quickly and effortlessly.
    • Self-starter - confident making decisions independently. 
    • Able to work under pressure, learn and adapt quickly to meet deadlines.
    • You constantly strive to make improvements to workflows and processes.
    • Positive approach to life and work - we are a “can-do” team. 
    • Have a full, clean UK driving licence.
    • Must have own car for travelling between properties.
    • Love travelling, the Airbnb industry and the Cotswolds!

    Benefits

     

    • Salary of £23,000 - £28,000 (dependant on experience).
    • 33 days holiday per year - bank holidays are not off as standard, though you can request these off. This is 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays in lieu.
