We’re making Google Maps for Learning.

Mission

To structure knowledge such that anyone can learn anything efficiently.

Role

Solve challenging problems in a variety of fields.

Examples include:

• Working with experienced machine learning and search engine experts to build a sophisticated web indexing operation from scratch.
• Learning and mapping knowledge in complicated but exciting fields (e.g. large language models) all the way down to first principles (physics, set theory, philosophy etc).
• Designing user incentive mechanisms.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc (2:1 or 1st) in a technical field (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics etc.)
• A proven track record of solving hard and deep problems, ideally in working environments.
• You are looking for a challenge.
• You love learning.
• Ambitious.
• Logical.
• Articulate.
• Optimistic.
• Fluent in English.

Desirable

• Scripting/OOP experience, especially with Python.
• PhD or MSc.
• Tutoring experience.
• An interest in the structure of knowledge.
