We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our Research Technology start-up. Reporting to the CEO, this person will play a key role in the development, vision and strategy of our products as we look to scale.

About us:

Indico Labs is a London based fast growing start-up specialising in data visualization and report creation. Our technology enables users to extract key insights in client ready presentations. Indico Labs’ platform and services is used by some of the largest and most well-known organises in the world.

The role:

As our CTO, you will be a key member of our leadership team and the driving force behind our technology platform and product offering. You will lead on the product strategy, build and manage a dev team and continue the development of a SaaS product that our customers love to use.

The specific duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Define Lead the company’s software development function, including articulating and executing a technology vision, setting standards, and building an integrated technology plan
• As the company grows, you will need to hire and lead a technical team. You will identify roles we need to fill, and hire, train and manage all technical employees.
• Identify opportunities and gaps within our current infrastructure and technology functions that require change and ensure there is a clear, well governed technology strategy.
• Responsible for DevOps, the testing and releasing of our software, and platform security.
• Engage with customers and partners to gain an in-depth understanding of our product-market fit

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in developing large scale enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Strong, current, technical knowledge of developing and operating modern distributed software applications with a broad range of technology exposure across different channels.
• The ability to think and act strategically, as well as recognising when to act tactically and operationally. The ability to know when you need consistency and when you need independence.
• The ability to form a clear compelling vision for the future incorporating diverse sources of input.
• Experience building a dev team over multiple locations, for a sustained period and can demonstrate excellent leadership across technology domains like development, quality, support, architecture and integration
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and presenting at board level with a strong track record in managing cross divisional relationships.
• Strong customer focus and relationship building capabilities.
• Strategic commercial awareness and prowess.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• A proven track record of delivering innovative, well engineered solutions in a global digital product environment.
