We’re looking for a Graphic and/or Communications Designer for our childcare startup, Pebble. This role will help us continue to communicate with our audiences in the most effective ways, and continue to evolve our branding.

Purpose Of Role

The designer will work under the supervision of the Head of Design, Product Design Lead and Head of Growth, but will also be an integral part of the wider team, working with customer success, sales and marketing to deliver high quality visual assets and compelling communications that truly represent our brand.

Requirements:

● Design clear engaging graphic communications for print and web. This will include marketing/communication brochures, direct mail pieces, web site and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed.

● Work closely with our marketing team to translate messaging concepts into marketing materials.

● Assist the sales team as needed with graphics and content for campaigns or client communications. Qualifications And Experience - Essential

● Currently in pursuit of associate’s, bachelor’s, or graduate degree if not qualified yet

● Preferred degree of study in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or closely related field

● Individual should be able to craft and execute a vision with creativity and style

● Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration

● Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop and/or other common design applications e.g. figma, webflow and canva

● Ideal candidate will be energetic, task-oriented, and creative with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

● Ability to communicate well with others and maintain a professional demeanor

● Desire to serve in a start-up working environment

Bonus Points:

● Experience with copywriting

● Experience growing social media accounts organically

● Video editing and animation skills

Pebble’s Promise

Base Salary £21-26 based on experience, and the ability to shape our processes and product, and grow within the business quite quickly due to a flat hierarchy

Office space in London Bridge to work and socialise from (hybrid or fully remote positions available for this role)
