    Based in Westport, CT, our client is an EdTech company that produces award-winning reading and writing support software for children of all ages and abilities.

    Hailed as ‘the gold standard of literacy software’, our products are used in thousands of schools around the globe, supporting learners with dyslexia, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and other special educational needs.

    The company has been active since 1991, is active in 23 different countries, and has won 12 prestigious awards. They have recently moved to a SaaS model and are on a significant growth curve.


    The role

    You’ll be the main point of contact for all customers within the agreed sales territory with the central aim of maintaining existing customer renewals and sourcing new business for the company.

    No day is ever the same – from hosting top tips webinars to chatting to delegates at a buzzing tradeshow to introducing schools to the transformative power of their products at staff meetings – there’s always an exciting challenge on the horizon.

    You will be part of a supportive team and will be involved in the full sales cycle, including telephone, and online meetings, the preparation of quotes, and customer care follow-up. Throughout, you will have access to technical and educational specialists to provide you with a full understanding of the software and its place within the education system.

    Day-to-day includes:

    • Providing one-to-one web demonstrations of the company’s products to schools.
    • Attending local and national tradeshows to showcase the company’s products.
    • Managing a personal diary of online demonstrations, customer care meetings and other activities.
    • Following up on sales leads to complete the sales cycle.
    • Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email.
    • Keeping up to date with product developments.


    The package

    • $45,000-50,000 starting salary
    • Commission $10k OTE
    • 10 days holiday + 6 paid sick days (increased no. holiday days with years of service)
