    A bit about us.

    Grind is a coffee company that lives in London. After opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand expanded across London with cafés and a production coffee roastery. In 2020, the brande pivotted online - helping people make better, more sustainable coffee at home with compostable coffee pods for Nespresso machines. Today, we’re building the future of coffee - wherever you drink it.

    You'll find our pink pods, the UK’s first compostable coffee pods for Nespresso® machines, online and in Soho House hotel rooms internationally, along with our coffee in their hotels and restaurants. In 2022, we opened with Soho House on Melrose Avenue in LA

    Based in Shoreditch, London, we have a team of talented people working on everything from product development to creative production, to customer experience - alongside the teams running our London roastery and café business.

    A bit about the role.

    We're looking for an experienced Head of Brand to join our team, managing the Grind brand through the next stage of our growth and helping us bring Grind to life in new ways.

    This new role will report to the CMO and is responsible managing creative development and production for the entire business - and will play a key role in the brand’s future. This role will manage an internal team, agencies and occasionally freelancers - all working on a spanning wide range of requirements of broad, growing business; product design, design for print, filming and editing video for digital and TV, the list goes on.

    We're looking for someone creative and organised, with reasonable experience with a fast-growth brand, especially one in the DTC or FMCG space. The right candidate will have experience in, and an understand of, bringing a brand to life in digital media and in real-life and will bring best practices from previous roles.

    Responsibilities;

    • Manage and coordinate a production roadmap, drawing on the various skills of the in-house creative team as appropriate.
    • Management of the day-to-day between a team of creatives and a broad range of stakeholders - each with different requirements, priorities and timelines.
    • Continue to develop processes through improvement of our toolsets, reporting and practices.

    Experience;

    • Experience in a relevant brand-led role, in a high-growth environment and working with senior leadership
    • Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment, working lean - both autonomously and collaboratively

    To be successful, you'll have;

    • A positive disposition and a pragmatic attitude
    • An attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritise
    • Reasonable knowledge of MacOS
