About us: The Forest of Memories is a not-for-profit organization that plants trees for those lost to COVID-19 or since COVID-19. Each tree is linked to an online profile, and in our physical forests, when the trees are grown, each dedicated tree will show the person's face and link to their profile. Our online platform is the first memorial platform to combine tree planting with remembrance. We have over 10,000 followers and thousands of real dedications, as well as two physical forests in Kent and Surrey.

Job Description: We are searching for a talented individual who can take the bull by the horns and take us to the next level. The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth and engagement with our platform. This includes taking charge of all our social media, email, and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth and engagement with our platform.
  • Manage and grow our social media channels, including creating content, running ads, and engaging with followers.
  • Manage and grow our email list, including creating and sending newsletters and automated email campaigns.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase our user base.
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify opportunities to improve our platform and user experience.
  • Develop and execute PR strategies to increase our visibility and awareness.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work with our team to identify and execute on partnership opportunities.


  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and social media.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing and growing social media channels, email lists, and sales activities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Passion for making a positive impact in the world.

Compensation: We are offering sweat equity at first, with a salary to start once we obtain funding 3-6 months time. We need someone who can dedicate at least 20 hours per week.
