  • 🌟INTRODUCTION🌟

Sick of sh*t sports bras for bigger boobs? Us too!

So we created B.X.M - One of the UK's first sustainable and ethical sports bra brands exclusively catering for fuller busts.

We’re on a mission to create space for big boobs to feel seen and heard within the fitness industry. And are now looking for an ambitious social media whizz to join our small team making waves in the sustainable sports bra space.

We’re a new activewear start-up, founded in May 2022, with big plans for the future. All of this hinges on us growing our talented and passionate team. Starting with a driven and passionate Social Media Intern/Community Manager.

    🎉ABOUT THE ROLE🎉

We are now on the hunt for an enthusiastic, creative and proactive Social Media Intern/Community Manager, focussing primarily on building brand awareness and engaging our community across our social media channels.

This role is perfect for anyone who is passionate about social media. Maybe you've grown and nurtured your own personal following and are keen to convert that experience into a career. Or you've worked for an agency or bigger organisation and are keen to take on the challenge of helping to grow a start-up.

As our Social Media Intern/Community Manager you will take over the management of all B.X.M social channels.

Working closely with our founder to develop the overarching content and social media strategy. As well as focusing on wider revenue-generating initiatives that will drive brand awareness, and ultimately sales, all while working in line with brand budgets and objectives.

We are looking for a candidate who is creative, innovative and keen to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Think masterminding guerilla marketing stunts, conjuring up compelling creatives and wordsmithing snappy captions.

The role is made up of 4 key components:

    1. Content creation (40%)

This includes collating and creating photos/videos into static posts and short-form video, using design platforms like Canva to create additional graphics, and short and long-form copywriting for social media captions. As well as building and developing ideas for future content themes and topics.

    2. Community management (10%)

Actively engaging with our online community, via social media, through commenting, DMs and general outreach. Including building relationships with influencers and brands for future potential partnerships.

    3. Strategy & planning (25%)

Working closely with our founder on the overarching social media & content strategy for the brand, factoring in goals and milestones that need hitting. Bringing new ideas and out-of-the-box thinking for future events, campaigns and activations.

    4. Project management, analytics & reporting (25%)

Staying organised and keeping on top of deadlines. Managing up to ensure sign-offs happen on time. Keeping on top of any external agencies or professionals involved in the social side of the business. Collating and analysing data across platforms and using this to optimise future content, campaigns and activities.

There is a huge amount of scope within this role, in many ways social media is a blank slate within B.X.M.

We currently have a small following across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. So there is an opportunity for the right person to come in and create real impact and growth, both professionally and personally.

Attitude is everything when it comes to working in a start-up, especially one as small as B.X.M, these are some of the personality traits we are looking for:

    • Transparent & reliable - Can you be trusted to get on with things? Will you put your hand up when you're not sure about something?
    • Creative - Can you think outside the box? Do you have a fresh new perspective you want to share?
    • Proactive - Will you put your own ideas forward? Do you look at a problem and immediately start to think of solutions?
    • Commercially minded - Are you mindful of budgets? Do you have an understanding of the business impact of social?
    • Dog lover (Lizzie brings her hairy friend Murdo to the office with her most days)

We are also ideally looking for someone with lived experience within the fuller bust community.
