Senior Reconciliation Analyst at Chip

We are looking for a Senior Reconciliation Analyst who will work with our team of talented Finance Operations Analysts and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
You'll be working with one of the fastest-growing fintechs, making sure the right tools are in place to enable the team to work as a business-enabling function. You'll share your passion and experience with those around you, allowing and encouraging your less experienced teammates to step up to the challenges.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Maintain advanced knowledge of product and process
- Run daily reconciliation for multiple customer products
- Investigate issues where they arise, predict and prevent future issues before they arise through trend analysis and reporting
- Second-line support for Analysts, third-line support for CS
- Supporting business unit to exceed OKRs
- Mentor, train and assist Analysts with more complex tasks
- Act as Finops SME in place of Financial Operations Manager in product requirements to ensure continuity of reconciliation and Finops controls where required
- Carry out, review and modify process and reconciliation controls to ensure they are efficient, scalable and broad enough to identify any trends and potential issues
- Automate and simplify using Python / SQL
- Lead the timely and accurate delivery of operational tasks defined by the Operations Manager / VP of Operations
- Provide detailed summary and communication in relevant channels
- Assist analysts with escalations, identify skill gaps, issues and trends
- Deliver feedback, training and raise issues where required
- Perform manual tasks to ensure accounts are accurate
- Identifying, investigating and resolving user account balance discrepancies
- Incident response including detailed summary and communication in relevant channels
- Take a proactive role in Operational projects to ensure better outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in finance operations, ideally having taken part in setting up new reconciliation processes
- Experience within a high-growth business
- Intermediate-Advanced Excel
- Experience using SQL or Python
- You're hands-on and take satisfaction in supporting colleagues, projects or tasks however big or small
- Numerate with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Fast learning, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately

- Smart, with the ability to find solutions independently
