Health Foundry is an exciting venture powered by Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Foundation and managed by Architecture 00 in London, Waterloo. We are a curated, collaborative workspace and healthtech hub for individuals and startups using digital technologies to improve health and wellbeing.
Since 2016, we have supported over 100 members working in digital health and related sectors. Our aim is to improve health and wellbeing by:
- Supporting our members to grow their businesses
- Connecting them to the local community and health system
- Enabling them to create and innovate better digital health solutions
We're currently seeking a full time or part time Workspace Lead to work with us to support our community of innovators and allies with a passion for making a real difference in healthcare.
Responsibilities of the role:
Workspace & Community
- Responsible for the day-to-day experience of members and visitors
- Respond to in-person, online or phone enquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming workspace and environment
- Manage daily stock and supplies
- Give regular tours of the space to prospective members and carry out new member inductions
- Manage meeting room and event space enquiries and bookings
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with members, becoming their “go to” person and helping to connect them with each other and the wider Health Foundry community
- Identify and implement new practices to build on the culture of Health Foundry
- Work alongside the Programmes & Partnerships Lead and Community & Marketing Lead to deliver a great member experience
Membership & Financial Administration
- Set up and manage membership accounts
- Create, maintain and distribute guidance documents, empowering our members and enhancing their experience at Health Foundry
- Assist with the execution of impact surveys, membership evaluation and monthly board reporting
- Raise and process invoices in a timely manner
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation of bank statements
- Debt chasing
Programmes & Events Administration
- Set up and monitor event listings, ticket sales and programme registrations
- Host events in the space, including setting up and welcoming attendees
Operations
- Management and review of existing systems and processes, including CRM and supplier contracts
- Management of maintenance, servicing and compliance of the company and space in line with legal requirements, e.g. H&S, fire safety, security and staff training
- Management of day-to-day workspace operations
Experience, Skills & Interests
- Experience in a similar front of house, frontline hosting and/or workspace environment
- Experience with CRM and back-end systems
- A self-driven ‘ideas person’ who is keen to make an impact wherever they are
- Strong communications with the ability to develop core relationships
- An interest in healthtech/startups/health/innovation preferable, but not mandatory
- Candidates from diverse backgrounds and Lambeth residents encouraged to apply
Working with us
- £27-£30 per annum, depending on experience
- Role can be full time or part time (minimum 3 days/week), depending on applicant
- Standard working hours: between Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, including one hour lunch break
