Moneycast is a London based fintech start up, building a financial analytics and payment platform which helps businesses to stop their overspending. Using the power of AI we help businesses to master spend complexity and navigate uncertainty to create business efficiency and growth. 

We are looking for a Growth Engineer to help us accelerate our growth process.

As the ideal candidate, you will have outstanding analytical skills and will love nothing more than diving into problems to find solutions and methods to help accelerate us forward. You are excited about start up growth and comfortable with the unknown - you are here to help find the answers! You understand time is of the essence and you favour progress over perfection.

Note: You will be working from home 3 days a week. We would preferably like someone who is able to join us in our London Old Street office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with our Founder as part of our Growth Team
• Building velocity of growth projects while working in a multi-disciplinary team
• Ideating growth ideas and executing on testing these ideas
• Planning and building early network effect features with a focus on building first atomic networks to drive defensibility
• Leveraging data to identify growth opportunities and propose new experiments; including growth experiments to plan for and orchestrate virality
• Taking products and ideas from conception to implementation and analysis
• Unlocking complicated blockers via engineering skillsets that hinder us from being able to run growth experiments

Requirements

• 3+ years startup experience, including experience in frontend and backend developing
• Strong level of experience in Node JS/ React/ Javascript
• Driven by a scientific approach and data-based experiments to optimise our growth process
• Enjoys questioning assumptions and designing experiments to validate them, confident in A/B testing
• A strong growth mindset - you look for and build upon improvements and share technical decisions to optimise user experiences
• Have a good understanding of business metrics and goals
• Hold a bias to action attitude with a preference for speed and getting results as quickly as possible
• Considers challenges as learning opportunities and is able to identify when a change of course is needed
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and is comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
