Smunch Recipes, a fast-growing startup that aims to revolutionize the way people shop, cook and eat food. Our recent achievements include being selected as a finalist for the City Sparks Start-Up Competition. Being featured by prominent press sites including The Grocer and others. We have exciting food content creators signed up to our platform with a cumulative reach of over 700k followers.
Our current platform is built on a no-code app. We are seeking a visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to join our team. As the CTO, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of the company, driving innovation, and overseeing the development and implementation of our technology strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the company's technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement scalable and robust software solutions, ensuring high-quality performance, security, and reliability.
- Lead and manage the software development team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Drive innovation by staying up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and identifying opportunities to leverage them for the company's growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations to ensure seamless integration of technology across the organization.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, as well as oversee contract negotiations and procurement of technical resources.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical expertise in software development, web technologies, and cloud computing.
- Hands-on experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and databases.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and mobile app development.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
