Job Description:
As a Business Analyst on the Transreport team, you have the opportunity to drive the E2E of our latest product. You will be accountable for business outcomes and be able to play a key role in the team. Alongside Product Owners, you will be involved in gathering requirements, analyzing business requirements, creating user stories, and working closely with development teams to ensure that the products meet the needs of customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and gather requirements.
- Translate requirements in between 2 different languages
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that the product meets the needs of the customer and is delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure that the development process is aligned with business requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure that their needs are met and that they are informed of project progress.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product and the industry to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to support product development and ensure that the product is delivered on time and within budget.
- Frequent business trips to Osaka (Japan) are needed
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
- Recent graduates are also welcomed
- With excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Japanese (Native Japanese speakers are preferred)
- Communication skills – from product specifications to tickets’ raising, to stakeholder presentations;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis, process mapping, and business process improvement.
- Understanding of basic project management principle project planning, risk management
A bonus:
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and other Agile documentation.
- Experience in project coordination
- Experience in Product Owner role, preferable in an Agile environment;
- Experience working on digital products including web & mobile
- Experience in basic wireframes and journey flow design
- Previous experience working as a Business Analyst
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
