As a Senior UX Designer at SonicJobs, you will be responsible for driving our design strategy and ensuring that all design projects meet high-quality standards. You will work across multiple squads to create innovative, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions for web, mobile, and other digital products. You will also conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and objectives, and develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across all design projects.

You'll be:

• 🎨 Creating innovative, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions for web, app, email and other digital products.
  
  
• 🕵️‍♀️ Conducting user research and testing to inform design decisions and ensure that designs meet the needs and expectations of the target audience.
  
  
• 👥 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and objectives.
  
  
• 📏 Developing and maintaining design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across all design projects.
  
  
• 📚 Keeping up-to-date with design trends, tools, and technologies, and sharing knowledge and best practices with designers across squads.
  
  
• ✈️ Occasionally traveling to the UK to meet with the UK-based product team.
  
  
• 🧑‍💼 Eventually leading a larger team of designers in the future.

You'll have:

• 💪 A strong conviction on doing what is right for the customer and experience in bringing your stakeholders with you on this journey.

• 🎓 A Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field or 4+ years of proved work experience.
  
  
• 🗣️ Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  
  
• 🎨 Proven experience in user research, user testing, and user experience design.
  
  
• 🖼️ Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital products, websites, and mobile applications.
  
  
• 🧰 Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  
  
• 💬 Strong problem solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  
  
• 👁️ A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional and innovative design solutions.
  
  
• 📍 Based in the UK, or willing to travel to the UK occasionally.
