About the role:

As Social Media Manager, youâll be a core part of our content and community team, alongside web and crm, that sits within Global brand. We bring our purpose of empowering women through radial female-first technology to life through fully integrated data-led content marketing. Social is at the heart of what we do so cross-functional working with local marketing and commercial teams is crucial.
We are looking for a smart, experienced and creative Social Media Manager to build and scale Elvieâs global social community, making us famous for empowering women at every life stage. Reporting to and working closely with the Content & Community Lead you will build the global social media strategy, bring the Elvie brand to life through disruptive, cut-through content, and ensure we are measuring and optimising effectively.
You will be a strategic and creative individual with an excellent understanding and demonstrable experience of building communities online with social media. You will also have exceptionally strong planning skills and be great at briefing and working with a creative team as well as proven skills of getting your hands dirty in reactive and tactical creative executions. This is a great opportunity to help grow and shape our brand and content as we prepare to take our business to the next level.
Location: Hybrid working; a mix of working from our Bristol or London office & working remotely #LI-Hybrid

What youâll be doing at Elvie:
â Devise a data-led global social media strategy to continuously growing our community of Elvie advocates
â Manage all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Podcast), driving follower growth, reach, engagement and referrals
â Work in partnership with brand, PR and creative teams to help deliver social-first brand campaigns that will drive earned reach, engagements and shift the dial on share of voice.
â Create, curate and plan engaging and SEO-optimised on-brand social media and contribute to blog content
â Feed into annual content marketing plan and lead social media calendar that compliments brand campaigns and wider content initiatives
â Collaborate and work with the in-house creative team, partners and influencers to brief and oversee content and copy creation that will resonate with our social community
â Analyse and report on social media and campaign success including social listening and share of voice monitoring
â Up-to-date on industry trends, platform updates and competitors sharing and educating wider brand and marketing functions on these updates
â Manage relationships with health experts and content creators
â Work closely with SEO agency, creative agencies and PR agencies
â Ensure that the blog, collateral and social channels are kept up to date in line with brand guidelines working closely with brand and creative teams
â Support execution of consumer events, brand partnerships, sale promotions and giveaways
â Support community management and work closely with freelancers to support community management across social media platforms
What we are looking for:
â 5 years experience in social media and scaling global online communities
â Strategic agility, experienced in creating social media strategies
â Proven ability to create cut-through content (a portfolio showcasing your ability)
â The ability to think and do! This role covers both the planning and the execution
â Experience of working with brand guidelines and delivering brand compliant material
â Ability to adapt tone of voice and write strategically for each audience and platform
â Excellent planning and written communication skills
â Proven flare for storytelling, social media, design and visual content
â Ability to adapt to social media trends with content ideation and execution
â Very strong attention to detail
â Excellent understanding of all main social media channels
â Experience in content editing, e.g. Adobe, final cut pro
â Experience in using social media management and reporting tools, e.g. Sprinklr, Google Analytics
â Desirable but not essential: experience of podcast management
