We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions and proven project management skills to join our team.
The role will involve leading exciting projects and delivering cutting-edge solutions to solve novel problems for our customers. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of frontend technologies, including experience with modern frameworks.
Over time, this candidate will own the performance and reliability of an eCommerce site driving more than £10m in annual revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Frontend Developer at SunGod, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, user friendly experiences for our customers. You will work closely with our design team to implement responsive and accessible frontend solutions that align with our brand and business goals.
✔ Managing project workflows and ensuring work is delivered in a timely manner whilst communicating this to key stakeholders;
✔ Developing and maintaining our e-commerce platform, ensuring it is stable, scalable, and optimised for conversions;
✔ Collaborating with the wider team to implement frontend solutions that align with our brand and business goals;
✔ Proactively identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers;
✔ Maintaining and updating our frontend codebase, including reviewing PRs from other developers and taking ownership over code quality;
✔ Mentoring and guiding junior members of the team, helping them to grow and develop their skills;
✔ Understand SunGod’s triple bottom line of people, planet and profit, and incorporate this into your job role every day.
The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:
✔ Advanced knowledge and experience of any modern frontend technical stack (we use Nuxt.JS);
✔ Understanding of client-side performance and cross browser compatibility;
✔ Proven track record of leading teams to deliver large projects;
✔ Experience with modern web development workflows and processes;
✔ Great written and verbal communication skills;
✔ Structured, well organised and proactive working attitude;
✔ Genuine interest in sports and the outdoors;
✔ Empathy for users and for those you’re working with;
✔ The ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.

We ask that you work from our office 2 or 3 days a week for team cohesion.
