We’re seeking an organised, and strategic Partnership Manager with strong interpersonal skills and sales track record to build our partnership function while managing our existing partnerships.

ClickMechanic is a marketplace for mechanics that is bringing trust and transparency to car repair. The platform enables customers to acquire real-time industry standard quotes (a first in Europe) and quickly book a vetted mechanic online.
Founded in 2012 by EF alumni Andrew Jervis and Felix Kenton, the company has grown quickly to offer nationwide coverage and is backed on its mission by such institutional investors as 500 Startups, and Forward Partners as well as angel investors including the former CEO of JustEat.
The role:
We’re seeking an organised, and strategic Partnership Manager with strong interpersonal skills and sales track record to build our partnership function while managing our existing partnerships. You’ll be responsible for the strategic development as well as the day to day management of our existing and prospective partnerships and affiliates. As part of the role you will work directly with and report into the CEO and be a key member of the growth and marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- New Partner Development: You’ll be responsible for proactively building a target list and pipeline of new prospective partners and affiliates and building relationships and partner integrations.
- Existing Partner Management: You’ll be the overall owner for all of the existing partnerships and affiliates. You’ll need to ensure our partners are kept engaged and be constantly looking at how to develop and grow the partnership.
- KPIs ownership: You will own and proactively strive to meet partnership KPI targets.
- Strategy: You’ll be a key part of the growth team and therefore expected to be able to manage the strategic direction of your part of the overall growth strategy. You’ll need to ensure partnership OKRs are in place to help us achieve our vision.
- Product: We want to offer the easiest solution for people to get their car repaired. You will have the opportunity to be involved in product development to further improve this experience for our partners and ultimately customers while working with our product manager and engineering team.
- Process: You will need to be someone that is process driven and has the ability to improve the processes behind the partnership function which can work efficiently and that can scale effectively with the business.
Requirements
- Experience: Have experience of building and executing on a sales or partnerships strategy in a high growth, digital B2C or B2B2C environment or online marketplace business, taking responsibility for KPIs or P&L management. Prior experience in the automotive industry, although not essential, would be very advantageous.
- Interpersonal skills: Building relationships and engaging with prospective partners will be second nature and something you naturally excel at and thrive doing.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Our business can get complicated at times, so the partnership manager will have to be strong analytically to quickly understand which opportunities are worth pursuing and which are not. They’ll need to be familiar with Excel/Google Sheets, and building presentation materials.
- Process: You’ll love to get to grips with and improve our partnership processes to find ways to improve both productivity and management of our partners. Preferably you’ll have knowledge, experience and be an advocate for iterative lean start-up process principles.
- In-person meetings: From time to time you'll be required to travel and attend in-person meetings to meet with prospective and existing partners.
