Role: Co-Founder/CTO

Two experienced founders seeking a co-founding CTO to help disrupt the UK food hygiene systems, saving operators 6-7 hours per week, reducing costs, and improving their health and safety compliance. 

About the founders:

We're two vastly knowledgable past and current founders with a combined experience in hospitality of 27+ years. We've been responsible for scaling restaurant brands (most notably one brand to 125+ locations), implementing EPoS systems in venues nationwide, as well as consulting and managing migrations of enterprise-level hospitality tech stacks. 

Having recently been part of an acquisition in our last roles, we've spotted a gap in the food hygiene market that will help revolutionise and digitise food safety compliance within the UK. 

Our knowledge and experience lies in sales, customer success, operations, strategy and growth, however, we lack the technical ability to develop the product necessary for this new concept. As such, we're looking for a highly technical and experienced CTO to guide and lead the development of our product. 

The Concept:

The concept is simple but effective, saving operators 6-7 hours per week for their BoH staff, reducing costs, as well as improving their food hygiene compliance with the EHO. 

In its basic form, the requirements are:

• A cloud-based web app acting as a 'back office' dashboard for customers where they can build products (that can be pushed to the Android app in real-time), access reporting, add team members, etc.
• An Android app utilising a Sunmi V2 Pro device where users will mostly use the built-in printing functionality 

The Candidate:

We are seeking a CTO to join us as a third Co-Founder to drive our technical vision and lead the development of our product.

This role is part-time and equity only until the business is self-sufficient. As the CTO and a key member of our founding team, you will have a significant equity stake in the company and the opportunity to shape its growth and success.

You must be able to take the lead and develop both the frontend and backend of the product, as well as develop an Android app to facilitate the concept.
