Company: Location: London, Hybrid or Remote

Are you a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a knack for building valuable client relationships? Do you have a proven track record of driving sales and securing contracts within the design and development industry? This is an opportunity to partner with an established design and development agency to drive growth and expand our client base.

About Us: We're a well-established design and development agency based in the heart of London. With a successful track record spanning many years, we specialise in crafting stunning websites and innovative apps for a diverse range of clients and industries including fintech, fashion, insurance and more. Our focus is on producing high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Co-Founder, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our agency. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Acquisition: Utilize your extensive network and sales expertise to identify, prospect, and secure new clients. This involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting our agency's services in a compelling manner.

  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to generate leads, nurture prospects, and convert them into long-term clients. Collaborate with the existing team to align sales efforts with the agency's capabilities and offerings.

  3. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their needs. Act as a bridge between clients and the agency, ensuring clear communication and seamless project delivery.

  4. Negotiation and Contracts: Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with both parties' goals. Collaborate with the agency's legal team to finalize agreements and secure project contracts.

  5. Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitive landscape to tailor sales strategies and services accordingly.

  6. Equity Discussion: Participate in discussions regarding equity partnership within the company, based on your contributions to business growth.

  7. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and conversion rates to the agency's management.

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition within the design and development industry.
  • A robust network of contacts within relevant sectors, capable of generating leads and driving sales.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets and achieve ambitious growth objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly with the existing team.
  • Familiarity with design and development processes is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Remote - but you have the option to work from our London office.

We offer two compensation models:

  1. Equity Split: An option to discuss an equity-based partnership arrangement, reflecting your contribution to the agency's growth.

  2. Commission-Based Split: A commission-based model where you will earn a percentage of all new work contracted, based on the average contract value of £3-6k.
