Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Intern to join our team. This is an unpaid position, but it comes with other side benefits that will enhance your professional development and provide valuable experience in the digital marketing industry. As a Social Media Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced team and gain hands-on experience in managing and optimising social media platforms for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and scheduling social media content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify social media trends and opportunities.
• Monitor social media channels and engage with the audience through comments, messages, and other interactions.
• Assist in creating compelling and visually appealing social media posts, including graphics, images, and videos.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative social media campaigns and strategies.
• Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong passion for social media and a solid understanding of various social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (i.e Canva) is a plus, but not compulsory.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
