Job Role: We are seeking a passionate and creative Sports Journalist to join our team. As a Sports Journalist at VICI, you will be responsible for producing compelling content, including blogs, vlogs, social media posts, comments, and interactions. Your focus will be on highlighting high-performing individuals at sports and fitness events while also covering noteworthy movements within the sector.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and well-researched content on sports and fitness events.
• Attend various sports events to provide on-site reporting and coverage.
• Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies and ideas.
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and developments in sports and fitness.
• Utilize AI echnologies to enhance content delivery.
• Cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and actively support VICI's vision.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sports journalism or related fields (previous work samples preferred).
• Strong writing skills with a flair for storytelling and capturing the audience's attention.
• Willingness to work initially on an unpaid basis with the potential for ownership or a monthly retainer after the launch of our first product.
• Ability and eagerness to travel to various sports and fitness events for coverage.
• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies such as AI, Web 3.0, VR, and AR.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and evolving startup environment.
