    Company Description

Safe Workplace is an award-winning Workplace Compliance and HR platform transforming how businesses address harassment, bullying, violence, discrimination and similar toxic behaviours in the workplace, with state-of-the-art safeguarding technology.

    The role

The UX designer will help us turn ideation, user stories and wireframes into easy-to-use products for our clients. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software, and Figma and have previous experience designing mobile and web software specifically.

    What you’ll do:

    ● Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the product manager and engineer

    ● Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

    ● Design graphic user interface elements for mobile apps

    ● Build page navigation buttons and search fields

    ● Develop UI mockups and interactive prototypes that clearly illustrate function and style

    ● Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

    ● Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders

    ● Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

    ● Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

    ● Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images

    ● Prepare basic marketing materials and pitch decks

    What you’ll need:

    ● 5+ years proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role

    ● Portfolio of design projects, specifically showcasing app / mobile products

    ● Working knowledge of Figma

    ● Up-to-date knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

    ● Team spirit and strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

    ● Good time-management skills

    ● Be solutions-driven and able to solve problems

    ● Previous experience designing for SaaS products is a bonus

    ● Experience within the B2B space would be a plus

    To thrive you'll need:

    ● Fluent English

    ● To want to contribute to ideas on how things work, not just implement them; we want ideas from the whole team!

    ● To zoom out from the design, see the problems we're trying to solve and consider the architecture, UX and performance as part of your thinking

    ● See challenges and want to solve them, always bringing solutions

    ● Be able to laugh at situations, yourself, others - the world is a funny place if you don't take it too seriously
