Mechanical Design Engineer Contract/Freelance

You’ll need:

• Experience balancing tough trade-offs during the design to manufacturing stages
• An understanding of when to create lo-fi prototypes versus perfecting final details
• A genuine interest in consumer electronics
• A thrill for finding solutions, even those that are unnoticed because they work so seamlessly
• Strong communication skills to source new suppliers directly and achieve better quality
• Proficiency in Fusion 360 modeling
• Practical availability to be in London with other product disciplines to work hands-on with prototypes
• To find value in committed high-intensity work periods and free non-working periods
