Events Associate - London
Role
This role is based in London, and reports to the Events Manager.
Description
For our London locations we are looking for a full time Events Associate. Hospitality is at the heart of what we do and an ideal candidate will be proactive and thinking ahead to make sure clients’ needs are met without them having to ask. A willingness to go the extra mile and get your hands dirty to deliver an incredible event product is essential for this role. This hands-on role requires you to partner a can-do attitude with brilliant attention to detail and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality experience to everyone who comes to our London event spaces.
An exceptional Event’s Associate has the ability to manage the expectations and demands of multiple organisers, vendors and team members simultaneously, so strong communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal and listening) combined with a strong sense of empathy are a must. A customer service background may help with this. Strong attention to detail is ideal for making sure clients’ needs and company standards are met. The right attitude and passion for Events is far more important than experience in this entry level position. You should show a willingness to go the extra mile when required and consistently demonstrate a positive attitude. You will receive plenty of incredible opportunities for

Role specifics
As an Events Associate, you will have cross functional responsibilities and be responsible for delivering a 5* member experience to event clients and their guests using our spaces. You will support the event manager in delivering the events strategy for the business and hitting our overall annual budget target.
● Deliver a 5* Service - Delivering an exceptional experience leading up to and on the day of the event is a key requirement in this role. Reporting to the Events Manager, UK, you will have a hospitality and customer centric mindset, enjoy meeting new people, and want to develop great relationships while having the ability to manage client expectations and prioritising your day effectively.
● Promoting and Coordinating - You will promote awareness of the space, identifying and
capitalising on new opportunities to build our community and generate revenue through the
events spaces. You will be coordinating with multiple suppliers to ensure the client has a
seamless event experience.
● Scheduling - Working alongside the Sales, Marketing and the Community teams you will assist with scheduling and coordinating events across multiple locations to ensure maximum bookings in the space.
● Preparation and Troubleshooting - You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of the events space including setting up the space for events and resetting the space after, handling ad-hoc requests and queries, and gathering feedback. You will also assist with managing the relationship with the events suppliers & contractors.
● Delivery - You will work with a team to ensure events are completed smoothly and resolve any escalations that might occur or complaints that arise while ensuring excellent customer
experience and meeting or exceeding budgeted sales and profits targets.
● Feedback - You will enjoy feeding in first-hand experiences into the wider team to help improve and grow the events business.
