We are looking for an experienced Tech Сommunity Manager/Recruiter who is truly passionate about technology and building communications. If you are a natural communicator and love hands-on geeky activities like contributing to open source, analyzing data, building smart home systems, developing for Raspberry Pi/Arduino, or coding your own pet project, this project might interest you. You will be part of the project and build a team from scratch, attracting and hiring the best specialists to create a strong technical brand and develop product-development expertise.
In the initial stage, this role will include several areas: finding and attracting strong technical specialists, and participating in organizing meetups for the company to build a technical brand. Additionally, there will be operational tasks.
What you’ll do:
- Recruiting
- Grow our brand-new team from zero to a fully functioning innovative business.
- Build teams in several different locations in Europe by hiring tens of high-quality professionals.
- Establish a high-quality interviewing process with the founders that is both challenging and enjoyable, featuring exciting tasks.
- Building Our HR Brand
- Create and develop our HR brand.
- Organize internal and external events, tech talks, language exchange sessions, and hackathons.
- Establish an internal educational program for employees to acquire new skills.
- Translate our values to the team.
- Organize internal parties and different geek sessions like quiz nights, board games nights, tours to museums, observatories, and other nerdy activities.
- Operational Tasks
- Establish a productive and comfortable working environment that people love.
- Estimate and benchmark market trends: salaries, technologies, cost of living in different locations, etc.
- Have a good understanding of UK visa, pension, tax, and health systems, and the ability to research these topics for other countries.
- Establish a scalable performance review system for the company.
- Be responsible for perks and other internal policies.
Skills needed:
- Experience in building and nurturing technological communities.
- Preferably, a background in coding or a strong interest in programming.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Great time management.
- Strong communication skills & empathy.
- Estimation skills.
Skills nice to have:
- Speak or learn to speak more than one language.
- Knowledge-sharing experience (tech talks, articles, YouTube videos, etc.).

Hiring process:
As a startup, it is crucial for us to hire highly skilled professionals. Our interview process consists of two online interviews and a test assignment.
