If you are a natural communicator and love hands-on geeky activities like contributing to open source, analyzing data, building smart home systems, developing for Raspberry Pi/Arduino, or coding your own pet project, this project might interest you. You will be part of the project and build a team from scratch, attracting and hiring the best specialists to create a strong technical brand and develop product-development expertise.

In the initial stage, this role will include several areas: finding and attracting strong technical specialists, and participating in organizing meetups for the company to build a technical brand. Additionally, there will be operational tasks.

    What you’ll do:

    • Recruiting
      • Grow our brand-new team from zero to a fully functioning innovative business.
      • Build teams in several different locations in Europe by hiring tens of high-quality professionals.
      • Establish a high-quality interviewing process with the founders that is both challenging and enjoyable, featuring exciting tasks.
    • Building Our HR Brand
      • Create and develop our HR brand.
      • Organize internal and external events, tech talks, language exchange sessions, and hackathons.
      • Establish an internal educational program for employees to acquire new skills.
      • Translate our values to the team.
      • Organize internal parties and different geek sessions like quiz nights, board games nights, tours to museums, observatories, and other nerdy activities.
    • Operational Tasks
      • Establish a productive and comfortable working environment that people love.
      • Estimate and benchmark market trends: salaries, technologies, cost of living in different locations, etc.
      • Have a good understanding of UK visa, pension, tax, and health systems, and the ability to research these topics for other countries.
      • Establish a scalable performance review system for the company.
      • Be responsible for perks and other internal policies.

    Skills needed:

    • Experience in building and nurturing technological communities.
    • Preferably, a background in coding or a strong interest in programming.
    • Strong organisational skills.
    • Great time management.
    • Strong communication skills & empathy.
    • Estimation skills.

    Skills nice to have:

    • Speak or learn to speak more than one language.
    • Knowledge-sharing experience (tech talks, articles, YouTube videos, etc.).

    What we can offer:

    • A real-deal startup adventure: you'll be hopping on a major project while it's still in the works!
    • A cool "Do Your Thing" vibe.
    • A crew all about people and products.
    • Always room to grow.
    • Flexible schedule.
    • Work in the London office.
    • Freedom to suggest, implement, and test ideas.
    • Competitive salary & perks.
