Copywriting Intern - Digital

at Online Store (Interiors, Lifestyle) in London

We are looking for a likeminded person who has a way with words, a passion for style and wants to play a central role in launching a new online store.

Working closely with the Director and Creative Director, you will lead on the development and execution of the content strategy, naturally feeding into the marketing strategy.

This includes:
• Translating our brand and style guidelines to develop a tone of voice
• Writing Press Releases
• Writing product descriptions and website editorial
• Developing ideas, researching and writing features for the blog, newsletter, social media
• and telling us about anything we have missed

We are looking for someone who wants to pick up the brief and develop this as their own, therefore would ideally suit someone with some experience in the field who is looking to develop their portfolio, take on more responsibility and have more creative freedom.

About the company:
The store is boutique in size (online only) specialising in internationally sourced interior accessories. If you aspire to work for interiors or lifestyle brands/ magazine/stores then this could be perfect for you.

This is a small start-up company so you need to be flexible, comfortable working in an unstructured environment and have loads of ideas. In return you will be offered the opportunity to be creative, work independently and learn about all sides of a small company.

2 days per week, possibly 3 during Sept (days/hours flexible)
To start immediately – Jan 2013
For the right person, this would turn into a longer term paid role on a freelance basis
Based: North/ East London (Stoke Newington, Dalston)
