Account and Project Manager
BookingBug is an online booking and appointment system that enables service businesses
(such as personal trainers, B&Bs, beauty businesses, cookery schools, healthcare
professionals, driving instructors etc.) to market and sell their services on the web. The tool is
also geared towards enterprise, with a large number of multinational clients - actively using the
We are looking for an individual to take on the role of an Account and Project Manager, to join
our team in London. You will be required to maintain the existing client relationships, develop
new sales opportunities, show expertise in agile project management processes, lead the
planning and implementation of a new booking system, facilitate the definition of project scope
and deliverables and ensure the successful launch of a fully customised booking system - into a
business. This will also require a technical knowledge of booking systems, in order to ensure
that progress is constantly monitored and reported on to all stakeholders.
The position will also require good knowledge of complex software integrations between
BookingBug and external applications, such as SalesForce and Qmatic. Understanding these
integrations, is vital to ensure that BookingBug - is effectively utilised in both the commercial
and public sectors.
The ideal candidate will have;
■ Commercial sales, account and project management experience.
■ Commercial and technical experience with online Booking Systems.
■ Demonstrated an ability to consistently meet sales targets.
■ Experience in planning and implementing projects.
■ Prior experience in meeting project deadlines.
■ Proven experience in risk management.
■ Proven experience in change management.
■ Proven experience in supporting clients and ensuring that expectations are measured
and acted upon.
■ Experience in managing large multinational clients, including managing expectations
■ Knowledge of the BookingBug software, in order to work with developers and UX teams,
in reviewing bugs and fitting dev work into a sprint plan.
■ Expert knowledge in complex project management tools; such as Jira software.
■ Commercial experience using: Qmatic & Salesforce. This is required to understand BookingBug and external integrations.
■ Some knowledge of the BookingBug APIs and how this can be used in a commercial
■ Fluent English speaking and writing ability.
■ Undergraduate level degree
