at DEALGLOBE LTD in London

(₤5000 - ₤15000 per year)

Who are we:
DealGlobe is an online M&A platform and integrated social network targeted at global M&A and investment professionals. We use the power of the internet and big data to help our professional user base execute M&A and investments more efficiently, especially cross-border M&A deals.
Headquartered in London, DealGlobe has offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Dubai, and is supported by leading international institutions such as UK Trade and Investment through the Sirius programme, the China-Britain Business Council, and the Bureau for Investment Promotion at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. In addition, DealGlobe also offers offline cross-border financial advisory through L39 Partners, an advisory boutique combining offline resources and a world class professional team to lead China-outbound cross-border projects.

We require a highly motivated Product Intern who is responsible for helping to build the DealGlobe web application. Your will work closely with our London and Shanghai based product team, as well as our application development team based in Belarus. We are in the process of bringing development in-house, and over time you will be expected to work with our in-house development team as well.

You will have a passion for technology and for product. You are intrigued by how technology works, how technology can be levered to solve customer problems, and how technology is actually built and implemented. You are highly organised with a strong attention to detail. We are seeking someone who desires a hands-on role where you can make a difference and where your contribution and accountability will be highly visible.

• Communicating product feature requirements to the development team via our product management platform, Jira
• Researching new features, and plotting out in detail the consequences to the user and other areas of the application
• Writing drafts of copy to appear on static and dynamic pages on our web application
• Quality assurance and testing feature implementation to identify and solve bugs before they are a problem
• Helping prepare internal project planning documentation to ensure effective communication across the organisation
• Completion of important and time sensitive ad hoc project tasks

• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Attention to even the smallest details (the difference between good and great product)
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment
• An interest in technology, and maybe even financial technology

You will be working closely with the senior management and the globally based product team. You should enjoy working in a team environment, cope well with pressure, be highly motivated, and have a genuine enthusiasm for the task at hand. You will understand that your success is linked to the success of the business as a whole.
