MarketInvoice is looking for a Finance and Internal Audit Manager to join our fast growing team. Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will oversee the company’s finances and ensure that movements of client funds are tightly controlled.
You will also use your knowledge and experience to drive and implement improvements to our accounting and payment processes and improve the efficiency of our finance department. You will undertake financial modelling to support Senior Management and other teams across the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Management: Prepare management accounts and other financial reports, making recommendations as appropriate. Oversee company cash flow and maximise financial efficiency. Support Senior Management in budget preparation and tracking
Accounts: Maintain MarketInvoice’s online accounting and book-keeping system. Ensure book/record keeping is carried out appropriately. Execute account payables. Help the company grow by improving processes/eradicating manual accounting processes
Internal audit and control: Regularly audit all MarketInvoice’s money movements. Identify weaknesses and risk areas in our settlement systems and processes, implement relevant controls where appropriate, and provide regular reports on the weaknesses and risk areas within our settlement systems and processes to Senior Management
Financial modelling: Build financial models to help MarketInvoice make sound business decisions
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
Outstanding analytical skills; enjoys working with large/complex data sets
Experience in audit with an accounting firm (ideally big 4), or internal audit experience within the financial services
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Good communication skills with an ability to work within a team
Previous accounts experience and experience using accounting software is a bonus
Full time role based in our Central London office
