The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and responsive Mac SysAdmin contractor with broad experience in support roles and working within creative companies.

As part of our IT team, you will advocate best practice hardware and software maintenance and support the quick resolution of IT queries. You’ll need to be able to prioritise effectively and work with the team to ensure that you’re working on the right thing at the right time.

Over the past couple of years we’ve experienced significant growth across the London business, not least with our recent expansion of the physical space that encompasses a large co-share floor.

Expectations of the Role

You’ll be joining a team of two experienced IT people.

What you’ll be helping out with:
Support around 200 people who work in a range of different roles in two locations in London
Tech support of Macs, devices, software and infrastructure
Troubleshooting of larger technical issues with the local team supported by global IT team
Install, configure & maintain software and hardware
Onboard new starters and clients to our servers and tools
Adding and maintaining accounts across our IT infrastructure
Plan for technical growth in the studio including video conferencing, device management, networking and security.

We expect this role to be required for approximately 3 months.

Your qualities:
Significant knowledge of and experience with multiple computing platforms with a focus on macOS
Able to organise and prioritise your working day
Positive, personable and eager to help others
Always ready to learn and to share knowledge with others
Experience working in a Helpdesk environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A strong sense of ownership and desire to keep high technical standards
Experience with basic networking technologies such as WAN, LAN, WiFi, DNS, DHCP, VPN etc
Proficiency with G Suite (Google Apps)
Some knowledge of setting up and troubleshooting AV systems (Google Hangouts, projectors, video conferencing)

Nice to haves:
Experience with macOS deployment and management including DEP, MDM, Munki and DeployStudio.
Experience with Meraki networking equipment and management.
Scripting/coding knowledge (Python, Bash, ruby etc.).
Experience with SSO solutions such as Okta
