We are Fnatic - born in 2004 into the new world of electronic sports (eSports). Since then, our charismatic pro-gamers have won thousands of tournaments across more than 20 games, the most out of any organisation. Through these achievements, we’ve grown to over 8 million fans on social media, with 10’s of millions more watching our pro-gamers compete globally each month.

Our mission is to lead the new world sport into every household through contents products and experiences, with the goal of becoming the first globally recognised lifestyle brand emerging from eSports.

Due to the explosive growth of our brand and the eSports movement as a whole, we’re searching for the next smart and driven Fnatic to join our ride.

The Prospect:

Let’s talk about eSports as a commercial opportunity, revenue growth across Media Rights, Merchandise, Advertising and Sponsorship grew to $493 million in 2016 with anticipated growth to $1128 million by 2019.

Our core demographic is between 16 - 30 years of age, with approximately 144 million viewers tuning in to various competitions, live stream debates, social media events, tournaments and commercial opportunities throughout 2016 already.

Our Business:

Fnatic Gear launched in Nov 2015 to sell a growing product range of gaming hardware, accessories, apparel & merchandise. A significant part of the sales are made through its direct digital channels, such as, Amazon and eBay.

The ambition is to launch further online eSports stores, to meet the growing demand of eSports and gaming related products.

Your Task:

We want you to work with us to create and champion our eCommerce strategy and Fnatic online shop. You will be solely responsible for revenue targets and driving P&L growth across the Fnatic online store, marketplaces such as Ebay, Newegg, Rakuten, and and the setup of new online stores in the future.

Lead overall sales growth initiatives for Fnatic eCommerce worldwide by devising digital marketing, customer journeys, CRM strategies and increasing conversions, among others.

Reporting frequently to the Product, Supply chain management and Finance teams on sales forecasts and planning.

Establish KPIs for digital marketing performance and review regularly with executive team.

Work with the Marketing and Content teams to increase awareness, set up and improve product positioning and devise promotions.

Lead and brief customer acquisition strategies such as SEM, retargeting campaigns and digital affiliate programs.

Ensure the structure, navigation and content on all websites are continuously optimised using on-page and technical SEO tactics to attract and engage prospects that closely match our target market segments via organic search

Shape customer journey/experience from discovery to conversion and maximize returning visitors, including affiliate/loyalty programs. Benchmark best in class and work to improve Fnatic’s store shopping experience

Your Experience:

5+ years of proven experience in consumer online ecommerce and shop management
Minimum 2 years experience managing eCommerce sites, being responsible for setting up and managing P&L and budgets. (Ideally you will have experience in managing SEO and PPC.)
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as economics, marketing, science or statistics
Ability to analyse marketing data, identify trends and recommend appropriate actions to continuously improve key Marketing metrics.
Deep understanding of ecommerce and content management solutions, metrics used, and online analytics tools such as Magento, Sitecore, Oracle Discoverer and Google Analytic
Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work within a marketing team, and other departments.
Savvy with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube.
People management experience, you’ll be required to provide leadership and individual developmental growth to your team members.
Experience in either the gaming hardware, apparel, or eSports markets is a bonus
