Funding Coordinator

at GapCap in London

(₤20000 - ₤24000 per year)

About GapCap

Having grown 700% over 2016, our young and ambitious team have already taken a big bite out of the FinTech market… and we aren’t stopping here!

The beauty of our business model is that our success is based on the success of the businesses we help. Our innovative product allows our portfolio of clients to finance their growth by leveraging their future cashflow in a fast, flexible, and simple way.

We seek to provide a fresh alternative to traditional financial products and our brand new, modern office in the heart of London is the perfect atmosphere to foster our exponential growth and dynamic way of working.

Primarily, the candidate will be a member of the Funding Management team, working both directly with our clients and providing an integral link between the senior funding managers and the credit risk team.

The all-encompassing aspect of the job offers autonomy and flexibility to the right candidate and will suit someone with a more consultative approach to business development and a focus on long-term relationship building.

In a fast-growing environment, it is important that all GapCappers understand flexibility and dynamism are a necessity. On a day-to-day basis, employees are asked to go outside of their job roles and pitch in to help - a ‘get your hands dirty’ attitude is crucial.

Day-to-day activities will include:

Managing a portfolio of clients: working directly with their CEO/FDs as the GapCap point of contact in assisting with their funding requirements.
Being a GapCap tech platform pro and assisting clients and potential clients on their funding journey.
Working closely with our tech team in constantly looking to improve and streamline the GapCap platform and processes.
Working closely with the risk team to gain a deep understanding of all transactional risks and conveying these clearly to clients.
