Digital Project Manager/ Product Owner

at Compucorp in London

(₤28000 - ₤42500 per year)

We like to build stuff… sometimes complicated stuff… for people who like to make a difference! We work with Non Profits, Charities and Art Galleries to help them navigate the complex digital landscape and create great digital experiences for their audiences.

We're a bootstrapped startup that has grown rapidly (from 10 to over 30 so far) based solely on the quality of the work we've been producing and we're on the lookout for a confident and ambitious Digital Product/Project Manager to join our team.

We do things a little differently, basing all our solutions on open source products, having flexible working hours and real team mentality. Our work covers web design, app development and branding for Charities and non-profit organisations across the country. Our clients include Charities such as Wikimedia, Farm Africa and Amnesty, galleries such as the Photographers Gallery and Craft Central but also companies, trade associations and government bodies.

We have a great office location off Redchurch Street in Shoreditch and the role will expose you to a wide variety of projects and you can expect to be helping to deliver digital platforms, websites and app projects. We do a lot of our work on the Drupal CMS platform, but since no two projects are the same, someone with a broad experience of digital projects would be favourable. We also do a significant amount of work with our CRM of choice "CiviCRM" and an understanding of CRM, backoffice processes and the power of data would be a positive.

Key responsibilities:

- Hosting client discovery workshops to understand user needs

- Working with design/UX and technical team members to develop technical solutions

- Managing UX workshops to evaluate different solutions

- Managing/Prioritising the project ticket backlog for agile sprints

- Allocating tickets to Design/Dev/QAbr>
- Analysing sprint performance / managing retrospectives

- Managing project timelines

- Managing project performance against budget

- Site and CRM configuration

Your role will be to work closely with the development team and the client to ensure all their needs are met, researching solutions to problems, managing estimates and timelines for agile sprints, ensuring the backlog is prioritised and acted on whilst ensuring product quality. There will also be an opportunity to use or learn technical skills relating to site building and coding (if you have an interest in it!).

What we are looking for:

- 3+ years experience delivering digital projects including websites

- Previous experience in a digital agency

- Compulsive list making!

- Great attention to detail

- Can do / Make it happen attitude

What were looking for is someone who can grasp concepts quickly, has great attention to detail, and most importantly loves a tech challenge. In short, we’re a team of self confessed geeks who love tinkering and tweaking until something is just right, and we're looking for someone with the same "can do" attitude to join our growing team.

If you think this is the role for you, please send your CV through to us with a short covering statement explaining what caught your interest and why you think you'll fit in.
