Business Intelligence Developer

What you will do:
• Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, etc.)
• Retrieve, analyse and present critical data and help management to translate it into business strategy
• Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis – and then do the analysis
• Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis
• Design and build healthy, scalable architectures for real time and batch data processing

What you should bring:
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in a related area such as Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics
• 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence, preferably in an e-commerce/ internet-based company with large and complex data sources
• Expertise with Hadoop, Hive, Spark
• Hands on experience with AWS, EMR or other web services
• Solid experience writing SQL queries and with relational DBMS’s like MySQL
• Good knowledge of Linux and shell scripts
• Experience with reporting tools (Tableau), ETL Tools (Sqoop) and concepts is an advantage
• Knowledge of the specific challenges in online marketing and how to approach them in an innovative and highly technical level
