We are a fresh, exciting new company that is revolutionising the way that event organisers promote their events and engage with their participants. We are an activity and sports event management platform built on the foundation of a fitness community.
Over the next couple of years we are looking to really shake up the sports event management industry, working with some of the most influential people in the endurance events arena.
We have a unique value proposition that we offer to event organisers and we are looking for someone to join our team and become a real driver of our future business.

We are a small but strong team of highly driven entrepreneurs and professionals. With a varied background of experience amongst us we each bring our own proficiency to driving EtchRock forward. We are looking for someone who will enjoy, and thrive, working in a start-up environment.
As a Business Development Manager you’ll work with passionate endurance event organisers primarily across the UK, but you will have the opportunity to take the EtchRock brand global.

- High performance business leadership with an exceptional aptitude for successfully driving ambitious business development activities
- Previous knowledge and use of CRM systems
- Proven over-performance in previous sales roles
- Highly driven with a creative spirit
- Some experience in business development
- Strong organisation skills and ability to manage own diary
- Experience or networks within sporting events environment ( not essential)
- Someone who is open, honest and with a high integrity.
- Adept at influencing internal and external decision makers at all levels, including Board
- Using innovative techniques to take new ideas to market

Role Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with UK and global sports endurance event organisers to generate new business development opportunities
- Engage with existing and new leads to help prospective clients learn more about EtchRock’s platform
- Shape EtchRock’s business development priorities in the global endurance events market
- Develop a strong knowledge of the sports endurance events market, providing regular forecasts and updates to the EtchRock team
- Provide recommendations of CRM systems and successful implementation of new CRM system
- Create and maintain up to date leads and accounts plans through recommended CRM system
- Strong proven ability to generate new leads, close self-generated deals and those of existing nurtured leads
- Willingness to travel to meet with prospective clients both in the UK and World Wide
