Active Minds is the world leading developer and retailer of activity products for people with dementia. Through rigorous research and development Active Minds is providing new and innovative ways to improve the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers across the sector. Role Summary

We are now expanding further into international markets and investing in new products. To help with this we are looking for an experienced Operations Director to manage the team, as well as develop and coordinate the business processes and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience, covering both general operations and Supply Chain Management, and is looking to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.


The Operations Director will have full accountability for the day to day running of the business, overseeing the team as well as managing the post sales process and all supply chain.
They will be responsible for capacity planning, streamlining business processes and developing the long term operations strategy. You will have a tenacious approach to continuous improvement with proven ability to implement changes that deliver increased operational performance and efficiency.
A person who demonstrates strong leadership qualities is essential. Alongside your responsibilities for coaching and developing the team and managing operations you will also contribute to strategic planning, developing the business and planning for growth.
