Our engineering teams work on several interesting challenges: detecting physical forgeries, verifying people without documentation or central records, and making complex verification data easy for our customers to use and understand.


We’re looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to help us meet a huge challenge: how to remotely verify anyone, anywhere!

Our Data Engineering teams work closely with our machine learning and computer vision specialists to design and build the scalable services, robust data pipelines and elegant tools that power our groundbreaking identity verification platform. You'll be joining a talented, inventive and friendly technology team who take pride in writing great code, releasing fast and finding creative solutions in an industry where privacy, security and reliability are crucial.


3+ years experience as a software engineer
Experience designing and operating resilient distributed applications
Good knowledge of Python (or eagerness to pick it up!)
Knowledgeable about querying and processing large volumes of data; familiarity with tools like Kafka, Elasticsearch or Spark is highly desirable!
Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
Passionate and practical: you know how to balance idealism and pragmatism
