Global Community Manager

We’re looking for a Global Community Manager to join us at Startupbootcamp’s Global HQ to support and engage our global community of startups, Startbootcampers, and ecosystem partners across our growing ecosystem of 20 startup programs.

As the Global Community Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an engagement and support strategy for our 400+ alumni startups across Europe, US and Asia, helping them to grow and scale and take advantage of Startupbootcamp’s global network. You will also help develop Startupbootcamp’s internal community initiatives, ensuring that as we continue to grow we stay connected and supportive of each other.

The Role

  • Implement and execute alumni-centric engagement and communication initiatives
  • ‘Own’ our alumni database including contact details, company profiles, and funding information.
  • Manage the alumni Slack channel by providing engaging content and responding to queries
  • Organise regular webinars for alumni with engaging content and speakers
  • Develop relationships with key conferences arranging alumni discounts and speaking slots
  • Run the annual Alumni Summit and other community events
  • Improve our internal onboarding process to ensure staff have a solid foundation
  • Track and provide evidence of support provided to startups as part of an EU program

  • Connector: love growing your network and connecting people within your network to each other
  • Detail Oriented: must be extremely detail oriented and execute tasks with great accuracy
  • Multi-tasker: it’s a broad role juggling many different tasks
  • London based: able to work out of our global HQ at Rainmaking Loft

Nice to Have

  • Startup Experience – we’re a small team in a fast moving environment
  • Community or events experience – this is a hands-on role and prior knowledge is helpful
  • Witty sense of humor: don’t take yourself too seriously – we love a good laugh
