Graphic Designer / Animator - Intern

at Mrs Wordsmith in London

At Mrs Wordsmith, we’re on a mission to illustrate the English language one rare word at a time. We’ve teamed up with the award-winning artists behind Madagascar and Hotel Transylvania – so that children fall in love with words.

We will create innovative vocabulary products for every device and every moment from hilarious loo roll to augmented reality word games. We want to be the next big education content brand. English is Britain's GREATest Export.®

Our Values

Focus on what matters...

Words matter
The next generation of digital natives will live more virtually, interacting for work and pleasure on the web. Words are a reflection of who we are. More than ever before - words will frame young people’s thoughts and shape their ideas. Words will provide access to opportunities, build reputations and nurture relationships.

Content matters
Technology without original content is lifeless. It lacks meaning. To reinvent education, we need to re-imagine the content that feeds the education system. Children have been bringing home the same dreary worksheets for decades. It's soggy thinking. Meanwhile, the world has moved on to bigger and better things.

People matter
People are our best asset for innovation. If each of us takes a relentless approach to excellence in our daily habits, together we will move mountains. Change is the sum total of countless small actions. We can be more nimble and compete on the global stage.

Focusing on what matters at work permeates every aspect of life and keeps us energised. It drives us to chase the next great idea and fills us with the passion to power our business forward. It bleeds through to our home and family.
