We are asset management technologists, and we provide a fully managed cloud platform for hedge funds, with on-demand trading, research and corporate technology, as well as connectivity to market data providers, brokers, and exchanges.

Main duties and responsibilities

This position is for a versatile, proactive technologist, who enjoys fixing things, as well as helping design and deploy a varied mix of projects. Some of the initial responsibilities will be geared towards a specific client’s projects across both UK and US.

• Design, implement and operate our infrastructure, as well as client environments across both UK and US clients
• Develop and implement automation tools
• Provide high-level architectural guidance to clients, and internally
• Lead client projects, from design to deployment, and be responsible for ongoing management
• Pre-sales support, assistance with proposals, workshops and events
• Participate in on-call rotation and support cover, including remote support



• Extensive AWS expertise and/or certifications
• General Windows and Linux experience
• Virtualisation experience with VMware stack
• Application packaging, deployment and management
• Experience monitoring, supporting and managing complex environments, within client facing roles
• Experience with scripting (Python), and configuration automation (Chef, SaltStack, Ansible, etc.)
• Networking expertise and management of switches and routers, VLANs, WANs and edge devices such as firewalls, proxies
• Collaboration and development tools, such as Atlassian suite, version control systems like Git

Bonus points for experience with

• Google Cloud Platform or Azure experience
• Azure, Office 365, AWS experience
• VDI experience, PCoIP, Citrix, thin clients
• Active Directory, GPOs, DFS and Powershell
• SQL experience
• Security tools
• Some financial services, or trading exposure
