First hire for funded HealthTech startup

at Messly in London

(₤17500 - ₤25000 per year)

Fast-learner required to support the founders to grow an exciting MedTech startup. Sales, Analytics and Customer support.

We’re Messly. Our vision is to change the way the way the NHS recruits its temporary staff.

We are looking for a smart, ambitious and self-starting intern to support the founders as we grow the business.

Messly is an online platform connecting healthcare workers directly with hospitals for temporary work. Find out more here

We are fully-funded by a leading team of London angel investors. Our current product is in-market with paying customers in hospitals across London, and we have several thousands of doctors registered.

You’ll be the first internal hire, working directly with the two full-time founders and our development team overseas. We are Abrar (a doctor) and Chris (a strategy advisor) – best mates from school who went to Cambridge University together and joined forces to start Messly last year. Check us out on LinkedIn.

Our business has grown such that there is now too much work for the founders to handle alone. We need a side-kick to support us across the entire business to enable us to ship product faster, sell to more customers and continue to keep our growing number of existing customers happy.

This is not an admin / PA role. It will require you to take responsibility in a customer-facing role and help to solve some of the toughest product, sales and strategic issues the business is facing. We will invest in your development to enable this to happen quickly.

You are smart, ambitious and looking to take a leap into a growth stage company to fast-track your learning and your career development.

You are frustrated by slow-moving, process-heavy situations and excited by moving fast to solve hard problems and delight customers.

You are excited by working closely with the founders of the business, and taking the opportunity to work in a varied role with responsibility and scope for rapid personal development.

You have worked in a professional environment before, but we don’t need specific experience or expertise. It’s all about your mindset and how fast you learn.
