Fulfilment Manager

at SPOKE in Richmond

We're shipping thousands of eCommerce packages every month and growing fast. We need someone to lead the team in our Chiswick, West London, warehouse and to ensure that our orders are filled quickly and to the highest standard.
You will be responsible for running the day to day in our warehouse - the stockroom, the packing team, the seamstress team, and the inputs and outputs.
In short you will be at the frontline of our business - and take a major role in driving our growth.
Our warehouse is currently 2,000 sq ft with a team of approximately 10 people, and will grow to 4,000 sq ft by October - then double again at the start of 2018. So our growth is exciting, and needs someone to manage it and give us the operational ability to grow further.

You will:
Ensure shipping and cost targets are met and will be able to report on them to the business
Hire, train, motivate and manage our packing, stockroom and finishing teams
Manage warehouse supplies, facilities and contracts: shipping partners, inventory management software, packaging contracts
Oversea space expansion
Work in conjunction with our customer service and production teams to ensure cross-business needs are met
Support on operational analysis and strategy as we scale

Epic amounts of hustle - the ability to find a creative solution to the thorniest operations issues, and to keep the warehouse humming at its busiest

In terms of experience you’ll need:
experience of managing other people (ideally in an Ecomm or warehouse setting)
experience managing in an operational setting
experience hitting targets in an operational capacity
knowledge of operations systems and excel skills a plus
