BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Are you a results- driven & strategically minded business development professional interested in being part of a multinational business at the forefront of the sports and technology industry? We are currently looking for an outstanding candidate to join the business as a Business Development Manager as we look to achieve our ambitious growth targets and kick start our operation in the UK.
Based in London Fields and reporting to the UK Head of Corporate, you will be responsible for driving corporate business development, with a primary focus on new business growth.
WHAT IS GYMPASS
Gympass was founded in June 2012 with the aim of improving people’s lifestyle by providing flexible access to all sources of physical activities. We sell multi-gym memberships and gym day passes to some of the world’s largest organisations to offer their employees access to our network of gyms. We work with our network of gyms with the goal of promoting healthy lifestyle, increasing productivity and reducing absenteeism at work. We are present in more than 12 countries and we have the largest network of gyms and studios in the world with more than 20,000 gym partners in over 2,000 different cities. These locations offer more than 500 activities including weight lifting, aerobic classes, swimming, fighting, dance, etc.
-Reporting to the UK Head of Corporate, you will:
-Be responsible for developing Gympass’ portfolio of corporate companies, from FTSE 100 businesses to SMEs.
-Research, map and develop plans for each prospect client
-Design new strategies to attract new clients across multiple sectors and geographies.
-Customise business proposals according to the needs and interests of each prospect
-Engage with potential clients to explain the Gympass concept, and understand how it might align to their business objectives.
-Map the decision-making process of each prospect in order to optimise conversions at each stage
-Continually seek and take advantage of opportunities to network with clients at external/industry forums
-A strong track record in business development, corporate relationship management or account management.
-A strong bachelor´s degree, an MBA would be an advantage
-Proactive approach and ability to work independently
