We’re looking to hire a Data Scientist to make a significant contribution to providing a first-class analysis platform, enabling data-driven decisions, to help us on our mission to become the number one online healthcare company in the world.
Based at our London office in Angel, Islington.

You will be >
• Primarily responsible for our data pipeline, accuracy of the data in our warehouse and management of our cloud-services
• You will have significant scope to be involved in more customer-facing analysis and machine learning projects
• Managing data for multiple business functions
• Designing, developing and maintaining the backend of our data solutions to increase data availability. This will include designing reporting schemas, data profiling, building data processes with API’s and programming in Python
• Leading data quality initiatives
• Collaborating with other teams on data quality
• Providing recommendations for changes, manage monitoring tools and metrics
• Managing release processes for our BI system and data Warehouse
• Collaborating with the wider business on change management, to make sure that any changes in infrastructure are coordinated with our development process
• Ensuring the integrity of our ETL pipeline and accuracy of data.
• Maintaining the highest levels of data security, working with highly sensitive data.
• Designing and building new processes to import and transform data from a range of sources.
• Continuously looking for ways to improve all aspects of our data system, from testing to deployment


You will >
• Enjoy working in a team environment and dealing with senior management
• Be a quick learner with a proven track record of producing quality outputs under pressure
• Have experience of ETL tools in data warehousing environment.
• Have experience with programming languages (Python)
• Be Proficient in different flavours of SQL and data APIs
• Have experience of cloud technologies including AWS
• Have experience in using Linux
• Understand version-control (Git)
● Have experience working with at least one of the following: Redshift, Looker BI platform, Docker, Jenkins, Machine Learning, Pandas / scikit-learn / TensorFlow, R-Shiny
● Have an understanding of how to use data in a Healthcare or Med-Tech environment




Salary £40,000 > £55,000 Plus benefits
