About the role
Checkout.com is actively seeking a resourceful Junior Project Manager with a can-do attitude to join our Engineering Team and deliver a set of initiatives to improve the capability of our people, the efficiency of our products and the scalability of our Company.

Working side by side with various Developers, Product owners and collaborating with many business stakeholders internally, you will work on a range of small to medium sized projects to enhance our Product Development environment. In this role, you will primarily be focusing on short-term deliverables (e.g. new product features development) and providing input into longer-term goals (e.g. new methodologies and processes implementation), focusing on immediate needs at hand and visualising the bigger picture. You will not only ensure that projects are delivered against commitments - managing their timelines, dependencies and risks - but also make sure that the delivery process itself is pleasant for all stakeholders.

Reporting to our Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to own projects across their entire lifecycle:
Contribute to requirements gathering/definition with business stakeholders and product owners
Ensure the scope of work is clearly defined and everything is well documented
Communicate project plan and status, and manage dependencies
Highlight, report and manage project risks & issues
Communicate project priorities with engineering team
Identify business process improvements

About you
2 years experience in Project/Product/Business Analyst role in a fast-paced and high growth environment, ideally in the e-commerce/FinTech industry.
Understanding of a range of Project Management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, etc)
Experience of tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Confluence is desirable
Excellent organisation skills, ability to adhere to deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality
Superb communication skills, ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary people at all levels across the organisation
Tech-savvy, with real interest for everything Tech
Experience working with remote teams is an advantage
Recognised Project Management qualification/certification is a plus
Fluency in English
