Lead iOS Developer

at LuckyTrip in London

Want to build the best travel app in the world?

LuckyTrip is an award winning travel app that lets you find unique trips in one tap, all within your budget.

Set your budget, tap the ‘Lucky’ button and instantly see a complete trip to a random destination. Each trip gives you:

Somewhere to go: The cheapest flights from Skyscanner.
Somewhere to stay: The best places to stay from Booking.com.
Something to make you happy: Unique handpicked things to do, chosen by us.

We love finding the most unique adventures. Think pink lagoons, secret beaches and haunted Romanian forests…

We launched almost 2 years ago and we’ve had an amazing response:

App Store ‘Best of 2015’ award by Apple.
Regularly featured on the App Store front page and currently #1 in the Travel section.
Featured by major press publications – Techcrunch, The Times, Evening Standard, Scotsman, City AM, Stylist, Tnooz, ProductHunt + more…
Fully funded – backed my high profile angel investors, Founders Factory and easyJet.

What our users say – 5* App Store reviews:

“This app is my new obsession”
“Finally the app I’ve been dreaming someone would make…”
“Sorted a weekend away in the pub in 5 mins…”

We’re a young, small team and we love what we do. After an amazing UK launch we’re ready to take LuckyTrip global. Fancy it?

You’ll work closely with the founders to build a hyper converged cloud based system with multichannel architecture that can transport any human or animal from their own home to a randomly generated location. For free.

^ not really, but you’ll be doing some seriously cool stuff, like:

Helping us remain the #1 travel inspiration product by continuously improving the LuckyTrip app experience.
Managing LuckyTrip iOS development internationally.
Develop exciting new product ideas and features.
Develop new LuckyTrip products including iPad and Apple watch applications.
Integrate with the LuckyTrip API and work with our backend team to architect solutions for challenging problems.
Help shape the company tech culture with new ideas and experience.
Manage releases through iTunes connect and the apple developer portal.
Keep up to date with the latest Swift language features and cocoa touch APIs.

Our success depends on our team so we only look for the best. Not only have you got to be brilliant technically, you should be super motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and an amazing team player. You’ll have a ‘can do’ attitude and always look for solutions, not problems. You’ll also get weirdly aroused at the thought of travel… we don’t blame you.
