Quorso is the world’s first ‘intelligent management’ software application. Our easy-to-use SaaS platform enables managers at some of the world’s largest companies to improve bottom line performance.

We’re early stage, growing very fast, and well-funded (recent $2.5m seed round). We have an experienced and high quality team (ex-McKinsey partners and computer scientists). Quorso has clients in both the US and UK and is looking to grow in both geographies.

Your role

As the Head of Product Design, you will lead, develop, and collaborate with a team of talented visual and UX designers. You will also work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Support for seamless input, deployment and feedback.The most important characteristic for this Head of Product Design role is that you can wear many hats across the product life cycle – you’ll love getting your hands dirty with user research and feedback, building iterative design interfaces and shipping value quickly to validate assumptions. You’ll have a passion for playing a lead role in envisioning our product roadmap and strategy. You will work closely with the founders to combine service design and user experience to design customer journeys that genuinely enrich people’s lives.


The core element of Quorso’s proposition is to make the complex task of running large and fragmented businesses feel simple and rewarding. You will ensure that this is manifested in all aspects of our product design.

You will..

Have a passion for understanding and meeting the needs of our users (e.g., considering how to make using Quorso even more engaging and emotionally rewarding)
Own our design strategy, including working with Product Management, Users, and 3rd parties
Own the design process including user research, design IAs, UX flows, wireframes, prototyping (e.g., InVision), A-B testing, and specifications.
Define personas, source UI/UX interviewees, manage research process, and lead design reviews with stakeholders
Manage and provide leadership, mentorship and direction to the product and visual design organization as it evolves and assume responsibility for their career progression and work happiness
Work with Product Management and Engineering to design and enrich new features
Build products that enable sustainable behavior change based on user insights
Ensure appropriate levels of user testing, feedback and integration into the product
Excel working in a small close knit-team

You have..

An obsession for creating a compelling customer experience and are in sync with the voice of customers, understand their needs, and how they consume content
An iterative processes rooted in rapid sketching and out-of-the-box thinking to design experiences that are simple and elegant.
An understanding of the design constraints, and know when to conform and when to push boundaries
Proven experience designing products that engage users in changing or replacing their behaviour using behavioural science and psychology
Bring deep experience in research, visual design, consulting, data science, and software development
Lead products from discovery and framework through iterative development and delivery
Experience working with remote teams of designers and developers
A tolerance for ambiguity, and willingness to roll up sleeves and wade in outside your area of responsibility when needed
The ability to communicate clearly, effectively and persuasively with partners at all levels from C-suite to entry-level.
Successful interactions with other disciplines in software delivery, including product managers, software engineers, executives, users, and finding balance among them with a goal of producing a great product with great design and great code.
A low ego: you are a collegiate team player who speaks his/her mind passionately, but works well with other people
Experience working in a fast-paced startup or small agency environment
Have experience with and curiosity of agile and lean philosophies of software delivery
Have experience working independently with clients and stakeholders
A track record of building and managing a small team
A pragmatic mindset, willing to prioritise the design elements our members care about ahead of those they won’t, and comfortable with the competing priorities of a startup

Even better if..

You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are biased toward intuitive design and execution.
You have designed SaaS software products and understand the challenges inherent in the model
You have experience in multiple international markets including North America and Europe
Have previous experience with Service Design including full-service consumer and business applications in multiple markets
You bring deep experience of known value-adds (i.e. workshops, research methods, visual design techniques) but are comfortable extending or making your own tools.
You have proven experience negotiating and shaping product design decisions with data, analytics and qualitative research
You have proven experience communicating a customer’s journey through personas, user scenarios, stories, gamification, storyboards and wireframes.
You guide product decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops balancing business, technology, and user needs constantly.
Deep visual design skills used to refine a digital product for impactful subscription and eCommerce results.
