at Life Bot in London

Life Bot is a voice app for Amazon Alexa to help people with daily productivity tasks. We just spent the summer in San Francisco as part of Y Combinator's accelerator programme, and are now looking for a programmer to join us on an internship for 1-2 months to build new features for Life Bot. Starting asap, based in Old Street. www.asklifebot,com

Desired Experience in order of priority:
Javascript Node.js
AWS lambda, S3
Alexa Skill dev.

What you'll get from working with us:
Training in building Alexa Skills. Voice platforms like Alexa and Google Home are the biggest revolutions since the smart phone and a lot of companies are looking for people with direct experience building Alexa Skills.
You will be learning and have support from our CTO, Oscar Merry, who has built the most complex Alexa Skills there are and has been named by Amazon as an Alexa developer champion.
You will have a lot of responsibility and will be owning your own project/voice app. This means you'll be involved in the design of the voice app as well.
We'll pay for your lunch and travel expenses - please note that we are not offering a salary for now but there could be a paid role at the end of the internship.

About us:
We are 2 founders who previously founded Opearlo - a Voice Design Agency building Alexa Skills for brands .(www.opearlo.com)
Our office is right next to Old Street Station.
We're very laid back and like to let people own their work, which means we're fine with working from home a day or two a week - as long as you get the work done we are happy.

About you:
You are creative in your problem solving and are enjoy working through challenges.
You're a self starter and take the initiative, and would be confident proposing ideas/contributing to our general discussions on Life Bot.
Like us, you are true believers that the future is voice first and you get excited when Amazon or Google release new voice products.

If you are interested and think you'd be a good fit - we'd love to hear from you!

Please could you send your CV, along with a short cover email highlighting why you think you and your skills/experience would be a great fit, to the email in the listing.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
