The Collective is the ‘go-to’ film and TV locations agency for industry professionals shooting in London, with over 1,500 properties for hire to every major production taking place within the capital. We represent a growing number of these locations, hand-picked for their high filmic potential, exclusively.

Our main USP is our membership. 70% of the location scouts and managers working in the city are signed up as exclusive members of The Collective. This means they constantly refer exciting, newly ‘discovered’ locations to us alone, and we feel privileged to say they frequently call on us first when they need to source locations for the films and TV projects they work on.

Over the past 12 months a small selection of clients include Goodbye Christopher Robin, Jason Bourne, The Mummy, Florence Foster Jenkins, Justice League, BFG, London Has Fallen, Now You See Me 2, Alice Through the Looking Glass, Bridget Jones’ Baby, My Cousin Rachel, Ab Fab: The Movie, Jack Reacher 2: Never Go Back,Black Mirror, The Night Manager, The Crown, Lucky Man, Humans, Marcella, Fleabag and Luther.

Our team is made up of three divisions:

Commercial: Historic buildings, office buildings, warehouses universities and so on
Residential: Any privately owned properties from stately homes to penthouses to Victorian terraces
Production Services: Production support including studio space, pop up production offices, wardrobe and make-up space etc.
The Collective shares a large, open plan office in Holborn with sister company Canvas Events. Our unique building is a very busy filming and production services location in its own right, so is constantly buzzing with production activity. We’re a tight-knit team of around 20, working together to hit quarterly financial targets, grow our portfolio of locations and build relationships and our reputation within the industry.


Our Residential Team is currently made up of two Account Managers and growing. The team work with production companies on the one hand, and location owners on the other, to secure filming in some of the most interesting, impressive and prestigious Residential buildings in our city & the home counties.

We are looking for a third member of the team to join in a Coordinator role. This person will take ownership of their own production enquiries (mostly for TV commercials and photography shoots) as well as supporting the existing Account Managers.

As the successful applicant, you will be required to handle shooting location enquiries from initial brief through to the shoot and aftercare, liaising with the production company and location owner all the way. You will put forward ideas for locations, build relationships with owners and production contacts, deliver great customer service to build The Collective’s reputation, and help make the Residential Team a happy and productive one all round.

You’ll need to be entrepreneurial, ambitious, confident, able to get on well with pretty much anyone and have a fantastic eye for detail.

The Role in Detail

As The Collective’s Residential Coordinator, your job description will include:

Using your creative eye to pick out locations which accurately answer a brief, and presenting these suggestions to production contacts.
Managing productions through recces, shoots and post-production aftercare.
Attending recces and chaperoning production when required.
Building relationships with production contacts and location owners through frequent phone contact and face to face time.
Spotting opportunities to grow the business through opening up new briefs with production contacts and/or opening up shooting options with location owners.
Manage situations of conflict with production contacts and location owners as and when they arise.
Keep the enquiry pipeline records for the Residential Team up to date.
Creating and tailoring production quotes.
Creating contracts and invoices for hires.
Spotting opportunities to improve systems for the Residential Team and implementing them.
General admin support for the Residential Team.

Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service, creative or relationship management environment
A creative eye and approach to solving problems

£22-26K annual salary + bonus potential
