SEM/Performance Marketing Executive

We are looking for a motivated SEM professional who has a passion for search marketing. This role sits within the marketing team and reports directly into the Head of Marketing. You will have the skillset to grow this channel and have experience running campaigns, optimising performance and driving positive conversion growth. - Plan, optimise, implement and manage paid search campaigns for So-Sure across all products lines.
- Ensure PPC campaigns are setup on search engines and optimise according to objectives and best practice guidelines.
- Launch & execute YouTube video campaigns.
- Develop short and long-time paid search strategies and campaigns.
- Manage and optimise PPC budgets.
- Analyse search query reports and build upon keyword expansions.
- Work with the content team to ensure landing pages are effectively optimised for all PPC campaigns to ensure maximum ROI and conversion is
- Collaborate and work with Google and Bing Account Managers to support the growth of the SEM channel.
- Perform keyword research and manage all bid management for all campaigns.
- Work with the Head of Marketing to ensure all paid search activity falls in line with the larger search marketing and digital marketing strategy.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends.
- Analyse activity and performance of all paid search campaigns and report findings back to Head of Marketing.
- Help to define PPCs strategies.
- Collaborate and share PPC learnings with SEO Executive to develop and improve copy and ranking strategies.


- 1+ years’ experience in PPC marketing either from a client, marketing or agency environment.
- You should have a good grounding of PPC and experience running PPC campaigns.
- You will have experience managing multiple, complex campaigns.
- You should have proven knowledge of paid search campaign tools, including 3rd party tracking.
- You’ll have a full understanding of PPC editorial tools (e.g. DoubleClick for Search, Google AdWords, Google Analytics) to provide support to the rest of the
- You should be self-sufficient and able to manage your own workload and have an eagerness to consistently surpass expectations.
